ΞΑΝΑ ΚΙΤΡΙΝΟΜΑΥΡΟΣ Ο MANNY HARRIS !!




Τη συμφωνία της με τον Αμερικανό guard Corperryale L'Adorable "Manny" Harris (21/9/1989, 1μ96) ανακοίνωσε σήμερα η ΚΑΕ, φέρνοντας έτσι πίσω τον MVP του BCL αλλά και του τελικού Κυπέλλου το 2018
 
O γεννημένος στο Michigan Harris, πήγε High School στην πολιτεία του, στο Redford όπου κέρδισε και το τοπικό βραβείο του Mr.Basketball of Michigan το 2007 μεταξύ άλλων

και συνέχισε με τους Michigan Wolverines στους οποίους έπαιξε για τρεις σεζόν έχοντας 16,1π (32% 3π) με 4,2ρ-2,7ασ-1,4κλ σαν freshman παίζοντας 33,1' το 2007/08, 16,8π σε 32,9' με 33% 3π και 6,7ρ-4,4ασ-1,2κλ το 2008/09 που ήταν Sophomore και 18,1π (36,1') με 31% 3π και 6,0ρ-4,1ασ-1,8κλ σαν Junior το 2009/10. Είχε επιλεχθεί στις First-team All-Big Ten (2009), Third-team All-Big Ten (2010), Second-team All-Big Ten (2008), All-Big Ten Freshman team (2008)

 Αποχώρησε από το Michigan αφήνοντας την 4η σεζόν (και το πτυχίο) για να κυνηγήσει το όνειρο στο ΝΒΑ. Δεν έγινε draft όμως βρήκε θέση στους Cleveland Cavs κι ενώ επαιξε μόλις ένα ματς στο Summer League (μένοντας άποντος σε περίπου 5' στο παρκέ), βρήκε θέση στο τελικό ρόστερ των έχοντας παρουσία και στα preseason games (6αγ, 8,5π) ενώ αγωνίστηκε τελικά σε 54 ματς ΝΒΑ το 2010/11 έχοντας 5,9π-2,6ρ-1,6ασ (37% 3π) μένοντας περίπου 17' στο παρκέ και ήταν συμπαίκτης με τον Jawad Williams μεταξύ άλλων.
Συνέχισε στους Cleveland Cavs και το 2011/12, αλλα κόπηκε το Δεκέμβρη από το ρόστερ.

 

Συνεχισε στη D-League με τους Canton Charge έχοντας 21,4π (41% 3π) και 7,9ρ-3,3ασ-1,7κλ σε 32,9' και οι εμφανίσεις του τον έφεραν ξανά το Μάρτη στους Cavs και το ΝΒΑ. Συνολικά έπαιξε σε 26 ματς (17,5' μο) και είχε 6,7π-2,7ρ-1,2ασ .

Μετά από ένα πολύ σύντομο (ένα ματς, πάλι για 5') από το Summer League με τους Houston Rockets, ήρθε για πρώτη φορά στην Ευρώπη για λογαριασμό της BC Azovmash Mariupol. Στην Ουκρανική Superleague  είχε σε 24 αγ 15,6π (28,8') με 26% 3π και 6,8ρ-1,8ασ-1,4κλ. Στη VTB League σε 12αγ μέτρησε 11,1π(23% 3π) με 4,9ρ-1,3ασ (25') ενώ έπαιξε και στο Eurocup όπου είχε 14,0π (31% 3π) με 8,0ρ-3,0ασ-0,7κλ παίζοντας περίπου 32'.


Το 2013/14 ήταν στους Orlando Magic για τα Preseason games (6αγ 4,3π παίζοντας 9') αλλά κόπηκε στις 25/10. Αποκτήθηκε από τους Los Angeles D-Fenders και είχε σε 22 αγώνες 31,6π (30% 3π) με  7,9ρ-3,8ασ-2,0κλ σε περίπου 39' στη D-League .

Οι εμφανίσεις του με τους D-fenders του έδωσαν τη δυνατότητα να αγωνιστεί ξανά στο ΝΒΑ με τους Los Angeles Lakers (των οποίων είναι θυγατρική οι D-Fenders). Έπαιξε 9 παιχνίδια και είχε 8,1π (35% 3π) με 3,8ρ παίζοντας περίπου 20', βάζοντας έτσι το όνομά του στην αρκετά μεγάλη λίστα παικτών που έχουν περάσει από την Α.Ε.Κ. και είχαν σχέση με τους Lakers. Ολοκλήρωσε τη σεζόν 2013/14 στην Τουρκία με την Turk Telekom με την οποία σε 7 ματς είχε 21,6π-5,0ρ-2,6ασ-2,0κλ παίζοντας 30' περίπου.
 Το 2014/15 ξεκίνησε τη σεζόν στη D-League με τους Los Angeles D-Fenders και σε 15 ματς είχε 25,7π (32% 3π) με 7,1ρ-4,7ασ-1,4κλ σε 37,6'.
 Έφυγε στις 30/12 από τους D-Fenders για να αγωνιστεί στην Τουρκία με την Eskisehir. Επαιξε 16 αγώνες και είχε 15,6π(41% 3π) με 4,8ρ-1,4ασ-1,4κλ σε 26' περίπου.

To 2015/16 o Manny ξεκίνησε και πάλι στους D-Fenders για 8 ματς (23,4π-6,8ρ-4,1ασ-1,9κλ σε σχεδόν 40'). Στη συνέχεια έπαιξε στους Texas Legends και σε 10 αγώνες είχε 17,2π (54% 3π !!) με 5,6ρ-3,0ασ-1,1κλ σε 29,4'.


Συνέχισε τη χρονιά στην Τουρκία ξανά για την Turk Telekom έχοντας σε 15αγ 20,5π (34% 3π) με 6,0ρ-2,1ασ-1,3κλ σε κάτι παραπάνω από 31', ενώ έπαιξε και 3 ματς στο FIBA Europe Cup έχοντας 21,3π (55% 3π) με 5,3ρ-0,7ασ-3,3κλ σε 27,5'.
 Τέλος έπαιξε στην Κίνα με την Anhui Wenyi (2η κατηγορία- NBL) - συμπαίκτης με τον Singleton, βοηθώντας την να κερδίσει τον τίτλο. Εκεί παίζοντας 40'43" μο είχε 35,41 π με 58% 2π, 35% 3π, 78% 1π και 9,5ρ-3,9ασ-3,1κλ


Τη σεζόν 2016/17 την ξεκίνησε ξανά στη D-League με τους Texas Legends έχοντας εντυπωσιακές εμφανίσεις : 42 αγώνες με 25,9π (35% 3π) και 7,4ρ-3,9ασ-2,0κλ σε περίπου 39'
 Έτσι κέρδισε ένα ολιγοήμερο συμβόλαιο στους Dallas Mavericks στο ΝΒΑ. Έπαιξε 4 ματς και είχε 2,0π σε περίπου 6,2'.

 Πριν έρθει στην ΑΕΚ το 2017 έπαιξε στην Κίνα πάλι με την Anhui Wenyi . Σε 17αγώνες είχε 28,7π (41% 3π) με 6,4ρ-4,1ασ-2,6κλ παίζοντας 40,6'
 

Με την Α.Ε.Κ. σε 44 παιχνίδια (40 βασικός) έπαιζε 28'54" σκοράροντας 14,5π με 80% 1π, 49% 2π, 26% 3π έχοντας 4,5-0,9 ρημπάουντ, 2,3ασ-1,3κλ-0,1κψ-1,9λθ. Εξαιρετικός στα δυο ματς του Κυπέλλου απέναντι στους δυο (18,5π-5,0ρ) κερδίζοντας και τον τίτλο του MVP στον τελικό.. Ασταμάτητος στο BCL αναδείχθηκε όχι μόνο μέλος της καλύτερης πεντάδας αλλά και MVP της διοργάνωσης έχοντας 17,1π-5,1ρ-2,4ασ-1,9κλ παίζοντας 31'19".. Στην Α1 σκόραρε λιγότερο (12,5π-5,6ρ) ενώ στα playoff ήταν εμφανώς εκτός φόρμας (8,5π-6,5ρ) γεγονός που μας στοίχισε άλλωστε..

Αφου μετείχε στην προετοιμασία του Ολυμπιακού, πήγε στη Λιθουανία με τη Rytas Vilnius με την οποία έκανε σύντομο πέρασμα και είχε σε 2αγ στο πρωτάθλημα 3,0π-1,0ρ σε 6,9' ενώ στο EuroCup σε 2αγ είχε 6,5π-2,5ρ-1,5ασ σε 14,6'

 
Στη συνέχεια της χρονιάς πήγε στην Τουρκία και στην Bahcesehir έχοντας προπονητή τον Στέφανο Δέδα και συμπαίκτες τους Quino Colom & Marcus Slaughter.
Αναδείχθηκε πρώτος σκόρερ στο πρωτάθλημα έχοντας σε 13αγ 20,7π με 37% 3π και 4,9ρ-2,5ασ-1,8κλ παίζοντας 33,6' 

Το 2019/20 έπαιξε στις Φιλιππίνες με τους NLEX Road Warriors και σε 8αγ είχε 30,9π (33% 3π) με 9,0ρ-6,5ασ-3,0κλ-1,1κψ σε 40'
 
 Προσπάθησε να συνεχίσει στην Κίνα αλλά λόγω πανδημίας covid έπαιξε μόνο ένα ματς στους Shandong Golden Stars (32π-10ρ-3ασ-3κψ σε 34'). Έτσι πήγε στο Ισραήλ και στη Hapoel Holon -πάλι με τον Στέφανο Δέδα coach- όπου μέχρι να σταματήσει κι εκεί η σεζόν λόγω κοβιντ είχε σε 3αγ, 22,0π(38% 3π)-6,7ρ-3,3ασ-2,0κλ-0,7κψ σε 33,3' 


 
Το 2020/21 έπαιξε ξανά στην Κίνα και τους Shandong Golden Stars. Σε 22αγ είχε 22,1π με 5,9ρ-4,0ασ-1,9κλ σε 25,7'

Στις αρχές του καλοκαιριού έπαιξε με την Al Ahli στο "Gulf Clubs Cup" (κύπελλο των ομάδων του Περσικού κόλπου)

Θεωρείς ότι έχουμε πρόβλημα στο μακρινό σουτ? Δεδομένου ότι Ανγκόλα και Μάνι Χάρρις είναι εξαιρετικοί σκόρερς αλλά όχι σουτέρ? Και οι υπόλοιποι περιφερειακοί και sf δεν έχουν έφεση στο τρίποντο?
