COHADAREVIC ΓΙΑ ΤΗ FRONTLINE ?

Μπορεί να μην έχουμε πάρει ακόμα το πιστοποιητικό συμμετοχής για την Α1 από την ΕΕΑ, να προδιαγράφεται πως δε θα το πάρουμε ούτε αυτή την Πέμπτη (και ίσως μείνουμε μόνοι μας στους 14 ρέστοι από το απαραίτητο έγγραφο), αλλά παράλληλα γίνονται μεταγραφικές κινήσεις αφού την επόμενη Τετάρτη έχουμε και Κύπελλο ..

Με δεδομένο πως έχουμε κλεισμένες τις τρεις θέσεις των αμερικανών (Grundy, Mack και λογικά Shannon) ψάχνουμε αναγκαστικά για λύσεις από την Ευρώπη στους ψηλούς . Η υπόθεση Shermandini δε νομίζω πως θα προχωρήσει, αφού ο Γεωργιανός θα μείνει στους πράσινους

Σύμφωνα με το basketnet λοιπόν, ο Μηνάς Γκέκος σκέφτεται τον Darko Cohadarevic (3/7/1986, 2μ06) για να ενισχυθεί η frontline μας . Ο Σέρβος, έπαιζε στο NCAA με το Texas Tech . Το 2008/09 σε 10.8' είχε 3.7π-2.2ρ και το 2009/10 σε 21.9', 6.9π-5.0ρ.

SENIOR (2009-2010)

The senior from Seward County Community College played in 34 games and started 31 games...averaged 6.9 points per game for the year and had a season high of 18 points in the win at Stephen F. Austin...had a personal best of 12 rebounds against Iowa State and recorded a double-double in his last game as a Red Raider - 10 rebounds and 10 points at Mississippi...a May 2010 graduate.

JUNIOR (2008-2009)

Darko played his first game as a Red Raider in the season-opener against St. Francis (PA)...he played 12 minutes, grabbed two rebounds, and scored four points...played in 26 games and started twice...averaged nearly 11 minutes per game and had five games in which he played 15+ minutes...was perfect from the free throw line in four games...averaged 2.2 rebounds per game and had at least five rebounds in five games...scored double-figures in three contests... had 12 points against East Central University and against Stephen F. Austin ...scored 10 points and had six rebounds in the win over Texas A&M in the opening round of conference championship play.

JUNIOR COLLEGE

Graduated from Seward County Community College (Liberal, Kansas)...as a freshman, Darko played in 27 games and made 15 starts...scored in double-figures 13 times while averaging 9.5 ppg and 5.0 rebounds per game...Darko, First Team All-Conference and an All-Region VI selection, averaged 15.4 ppg and 8.0 rebounds per game as a junior for Coach Bryan Zollinger...played in 38 games and started 37 times...Darko led the Saints to a 32-6 record in his sophomore season...the Saints were Jayhawk West and Region VI Tournament champions...after losing to Nick Okorie's South Plains College squad, the Saints completed their season winning the third-place game over Three Rivers Community College game at the NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas...Darko was named the Region VI Tournament MVP, NJCAA All-Tournament Team, and was tabbed Honorable Mention NJCAA All-American...selected to play in the NJCAA All-Star game in Scottsdale, Arizona.

HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from the Grammar School of Math (Belgrade, Serbia) in May, 2005.
